Loryana, born in Columbus, Ohio, under the sign of Aries, remembers fondly her first horse named Moon. While working and playing on her farm, Loryana would constantly be singing. When her parents discovered her singing talent, they encouraged her to share her voice with others. Loryana began to sing at family reunions, then later for her church, weddings, festivals and other community and private events.

Loryana sang in her school choirs for many years, and was active in her community. At 17 years old, she had the good fortune to tour five countries in Europe, and sing at Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace, to honor the Queen. She also performed at Westminster Abbey, outside the Towers of London, and Cologne Cathedral. This awesome, life-changing experience marked the beginning of her artistic career.

At a local event, Loryana met her future husband, Victor, a Latino from Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico. After they were married, Loryana was happy to realize, not only that she had the support of her husband, but the Hispanic community, as well. Loryana feels very proud and blessed to call many people, from many countries and cultures, her friends.

During an event in Columbus, Ohio, Loryana met a known Mexican writer and entertainment executive, Maria Luisa Medina. Together, they have created their first CD, which offers an enticing variety of upbeat durangense, a taste of kumbia, and enchanting, romantic ballads. The Mexican community has baptized Loryana as "The Diamond of the North", and agree that she, too, is very rare; a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, American girl, singing Mexican music in the style "Del Norte"
